Madame Tussauds

From LondonHotels.in

Madame Tussaud (1761-1850) crafted her own waxwork dummies. She practised her craft using death masks of people who had gone under the guillotine. These people included Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette. Since this time, the tradition has been followed by craftsman producing superbly, accurate look-alike models of the famous and the infamous people from around the globe. Madame Tussauds is one of the most famous tourist attractions in London, housing an impressive, collection of uncanny, look-alike, waxwork models. The waxwork collection includes figurines of celebrities, sports men and women, pop stars, film stars, political figures, royalty and characters ranging from the famous and the infamous, to the glamorous and the gruesome. Nowhere else is it possible to have your photograph taken with such a variety of influential characters all at once!
